Furnace and Thermostat

I put a new furnace and thermostat in my Berkeley house in Fall 2010. I would like to be involved in selecting the one that will live over our dining room. I am very concerned about energy efficiency as well as minimizing the noise that the furnace might make in a place very central to our lives.

Furnace. York, model TM9T060B12MP11, 60K-BTU, 96% efficient, 2-stage with multiple speed blower. This is the one we have in Berkeley that was installed Fall 2010.

Main house

Update July 31, 2012: Our new furnace, which is not the one listed above, is being hoisted up through my closet to a space over the long hall where it will come to rest.

Thermostat. Pro1 IAQ.This is the one we have in Berkeley. If possible, I would like to use the same one as I have figured out how to work it.

Ever since Ray Richardson's group installed the new furnace, there has been an old thermostat drooping from the spot that will eventually house a new one.

Finally the new thermostat is installed. It is easy to use and works beautifully.

Cottage
There is a heating and AC unit in both the multi-purpose room and Katherine's office.
